Surprise! Our 3 year old stopped learning to read

A sequel to the previous where we discussed teaching said 3 year old to read

It will come as no surprise to some of you that literally the day after I posted about how I’ve been (happily, successfully, regularly, for many months) helping her learn to read, she decided she’d had enough. Ha!

I tried hand writing some of the stories myself out of the book to mix it up a bit, but no dice.

We’ll revisit the book again later in the year, or sooner if she asks for it. Maybe she won’t make Harvard after all.

Also, I promise Oz will contribute to this Substack soon enough, he’s just been caught up with werk.
